- The Acer Trade-in promotion is valid on brand new (i.e. not second hand or refurbished) Qualifying Acer Gaming Notebook purchases (“Qualifying Products”) made between 3rd August 2017 and 17th September 2017 (“Promotional Period”) and the trade-in of a Qualifying Notebook (“Qualifying Trade-in”) as detailed in the Qualifying Products and Qualifying Trade-in section of this website.
- The promotion is open to residents of Thailand only. This offer is not open to employees of Acer Ltd, their agents, wholesalers, resellers, retail staff, retailers, participating stockists or anyone connected with the promotion.
- Trade-in registrations must be submitted through a participating Acer Service Centre. The total number of permitted claims is limited to 2 per qualifying product, per trade-in, per individual, household or business during the promotional period. Only one trade-in reward per Qualifying Product purchased will be accepted. This offer may not be combined with any other promotion.
In order to participate in this promotion participants are required to:
- Bring the Qualifying Trade-in to a participating Acer Service Centre within the Promotional Period to verify the Trade-in qualifies for the promotion.
- The Acer Service Centre will verify if the Trade-in qualifies for the promotion and submit the Trade-in registration and advise the Trade-in reward value.
- Participants will be required to provide: name, email address, contact number, address and bank details. On successful registration the Acer Service Centre will provide one Unique Trade-in Code per Qualifying Trade-in.
- Within the Promotional Period a Qualifying Product must be purchased and registered on Acer Facebook: https://th-th.facebook.com/AcerThailand/. Participants are required submit the following details: Qualifying Product Purchased (per purchase), Qualifying Product serial number, date of purchase, name, province, date of birth upload invoice/ receipt image and enter the Unique Trade-in Code (per qualifying product purchased).
- Once the purchase has been successfully registered with Acer, the participant will receive confirmation of receipt of the claim by email from support@tradeinacer.com within 8 days.
- Trade-in registrations submitted at an Acer Service Centre on the 17th September 2017 (Trade-ins received on 17th September counts as day 1) will have 30 days to purchase and register their Qualifying Product.
- The Acer Service Centre will hold the Trade-in until the final claim has been submitted, participants are eligible to return to the Acer Service Centre to migrate their data within 14 days of registering their product on Acer Facebook.
- Participants who do not purchase a qualifying product and register within the promotional period will have 30 days after the promotional period to collect their Trade-in. Trade-ins not collected will be recycled free of charge.
- Acer accepts no responsibility for lost or confidential data and software stored on the Trade-in Devices. Deletion of all confidential data and information, which are in each case subject to applicable data protection legislation, and are possibly stored on the product to be traded-in, is the responsibility of the participant.
- For all successful claims the computer traded in all data will be destroyed. Please note we are unable to retrieve any data once a computer has been sent to the Recycling Centre.
- The promotion is valid in respect of qualifying products purchased either directly from Acer, or an authorised reseller or authorised retailer of Acer within the promotional period. The promotion is only valid for end user customers; claims for products purchased which will be resold or rented to a third party are ineligible for this promotion.
- Participants must hold a Thai Bank account. Bank transfers cannot be made out to individuals except where the product has been purchased for personal use and the claimant's name and personal address appears as the recipient on the proof of purchase invoice.
- Provided that the terms and conditions of this promotion have been met, the reward for the relevant amount will be paid to you by bank transfer. Payments will be made within 14 working days of the receipt of the claim validation email.
- All instructions form part of these terms and conditions. The Trade-in reward will only be paid upon satisfaction by the participant of these terms and conditions. By completing the claim process participants confirm their acceptance of these terms and conditions.
The reward cannot be granted to the participant who:
- has not purchased the qualifying Acer products within the promotional period; and/or
- has not completed the qualifying product registration with Acer
- has not supplied proof of purchase
- supplied an invalid Unique Trade-in Code
- has returned the Qualifying Product for a refund or exchange
- failed in any way to comply with these terms and conditions
- Acer reserves the right to disqualify incomplete, altered or illegible claims.
- Acer is not responsible or liable for any technical, hardware, software, server, website, or other failures or damage of any kind to the extent that this prevents the participant from or otherwise obstructs him/her in participating in the promotion.
- Acer reserves the right to audit all requests to ensure that the terms and conditions of the promotion have been met and to request additional information regarding any and all claims and supporting documents.
- All documentation submitted for this promotion becomes property of Acer and will not be returned. Submission of false, incorrect, misleading or fraudulent documentation may result in disqualification from this promotion and future Acer promotions and may result in the submitter being subject to prosecution.
- The decisions of Acer in respect of any and all aspects of the promotion will be final and binding.
- Acer reserves the right to amend or cancel the terms of this offer without notice.
- Participants providing an incomplete claim will be notified via email and offered the opportunity to provide the required items within seven days. If the participant still fails to comply with the terms and conditions, the claim for reward will be refused.
- Acer regrets that it is unable to accept or send any other correspondence concerning the promotion other than as set out in these terms and condition.
